Michael Kirwan

Michael Kirwan is the Founder and President of Falls Bridge Capital. Mike has over 22 years’ experience in the financial industry and 17 years in the institutional fundraising business. Mike began fundraising in 2005 at Mariner Investment Group where he spent a decade raising more than $6 billion from institutional investors across the United States, Europe and the Middle East.Previous to Mariner, Michael worked in private banking at Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan Private Bank.Michael served five years in the U.S. Navy as an officer upon graduation from the U.S. Naval Academy with a B.S. in Economics. He received his MBA from The College of William & Mary and his MPA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Fels School of Government.

Quinn Fionda

Quinn Fionda joined Falls Bridge Capital as a Partner in 2024, bringing over 25 years of financial and leadership expertise. Previously, he served as Partner and Global Head of Business Development and Investor Relations at East Lodge Capital, where he was also a member of the firm’s management committee. He held similar roles at Isomer Partners, an alternative investment firm focused on the consumer and technology sectors, and at Scopia Capital, where he helped grow the firm into a multi-billion dollar asset manager. Earlier in his career, Quinn was a Vice President in business and product development at Highbridge Capital, and in investment banking at Morgan Stanley. Prior to his financial career, he served six years as a U.S. Navy SEAL. Quinn holds an MBA from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business and a B.S. from the U.S. Naval Academy, with a minor in Russian. He is also a Life Member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a Board Member Emeritus of the Navy SEAL Foundation.

Colman Currie

Colman Currie manages the Los Angeles office for Falls Bridge Capital after joining as a partner in 2019 with more than 15 years experience in the financial industry and 13 years of institutional capital raising experience with a focus on the alternatives sector. Prior to Falls Bridge Capital, Colman was Head of Marketing and Investor Relations for Duane Park Capital. Colman spent more than four years at KLS Diversified Asset Management in Client Development focused on North America, Europe and the Middle East. Colman was Vice President of Marketing at Linden Advisors after beginning his institutional sales career at MKP Capital. Colman began his alternative asset career as an Analyst in the Asset Management Division at Goldman Sachs in the Hedge Fund Strategies group. He graduated Hobart College with a BS in Economics.

Clara Sánchez-Marco

Clara Sánchez-Marco joined Falls Bridge Capital as a partner in 2024 to establish its Continental European business. Clara has been active in alternatives since 2009 working in investment management and investor relations at Goldman Sachs and The Carlyle Group. Clara served a diverse client base, both private wealth and institutional clients, across a wide range of geographies. She has experience working across the full spectrum of alternatives, ranging from private equity, hedge funds, real estate and credit funds, as well as co-investments and third-party private placements. Prior to her role at Falls Bridge, Clara founded Indigo Advisors, a firm dedicated to structuring, sourcing, and managing significant investment projects and fundraising initiatives. Clara holds a degree in International Business Administration and Management from the European Business School, with a finance specialization, and is fluent in Spanish, English, and French.

Derek Cotta

Derek Cotta, graduate of Embry-Riddle, joined Falls Bridge Capital in 2020 as a Vice President. Derek holds a Master of Science in Aeronautical Science and previously worked as an Investment Specialist with JP Morgan’s Private Bank in Los Angeles. Prior to joining JP Morgan, he spent 14 years as an Officer and MV-22 Osprey pilot in the Marine Corps. He finished his active duty career flying for Presidential Helicopter Squadron One and currently serves as an Officer in the Marine Corps Reserve.

Austin C. Treubert

Austin C. Treuberta graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, B.S., Political Science, joined Falls Bridge after spending 6 years working in financial management and supply chain logistics as a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps. Austin continues his service in the Marine Corps Reserves working directly under the Deputy Commandant of Logistics at the Pentagon. Austin is based in Washington D.C. 

Hannah Brown

Hannah Brown joined Falls Bridge Capital in 2024 to run its UK business, Falls Bridge Cheverny.  Hannah has been working in institutional fundraising and investor relations since 2007, raising money from consultants, pension funds, insurance companies, family offices, private banks and fund of funds across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and the United States.  Her main area of focus has been in the alternatives sector, covering a broad range of strategies across relative value, event driven, distressed, macro, equity long short and long only emerging markets.  Prior to Falls Bridge Capital Hannah ran the marketing and client services globally for Polunin Capital Partners in London.

Graham Pugh

 Graham Pugh, a graduate of Colby College, joins Falls Bridge Capital as an Analyst. Graham graduated with a BA in Economics and minored in Environmental Studies. While at Colby College, Graham competed for the Men’s Varsity Soccer Team for five years and captained the team for four. Before his work with Falls Bridge Capital, Graham worked in the healthcare industry as a data analyst.

John Marron

John Marron joined Falls Bridge as Chief Investment Officer in 2023 and has over 18 years of experience allocating capital - primarily at two leading endowments (Georgetown University and University of Virginia Investment Management Company). At Georgetown University, he was selected as a founding member of the investment office, helping build the office from scratch. During his tenure at UVIMCO, John was a key member of the Investment Committee and had responsibility for the hiring and oversight of world-class managers across all asset classes. As a thoughtful, experienced investor, John has a deep understanding of the allocator investment process and strong connections to top-tier managers. John is a CFA Charterholder and has a B.S. in Commerce (Finance) from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.

Joe Carroll

Joe Carroll, a graduate of Northeastern University, BA, and the University of Cambridge, MA, joined Falls Bridge Capital in 2023 as a Vice President. Joe is based in the Washington D.C area and has over ten years of experience in the financial services industry, focusing on business development and institutional fundraising. Joe previously worked at Capital Suisse, Meridian Investments, and Jones, Lang, Lasalle (JLL). In his free time, Joe can be found rowing the Potomac River.

Michael Knippen

Michael Knippen, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, joins Falls Bridge Capital as an Investment Associate. He was previously contracted for analytical work in the pharmaceutical industry. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison with majors in Biochemistry and Mathematics, he brings a life sciences approach to numerical modeling. Michael is a member of the US National Rowing Team and trains at California Rowing Club.

Virginia Lawson

Virginia Lawson joins Falls Bridge Capital following 12 years of marketing leadership and brand management roles at Moet Hennessy USA (LVMH). Virginia was responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans, launching new products and leading consumer & trade activations for the most sought-after wines & spirits brands in the world. Virginia began her career at Goldman Sachs in the Financial Planning & Investment Advisory Group. Virginia is a graduate of The University of Alabama with a major in advertising and a minor in business.
